Rhythmo Support

How can we help?

Support for your account, health data and using Rhythmo.

Contact app support

Email: rachel@s-labs.com

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, your phone model and the Rhythmo version/build number if available. A screenshot of an error can help, but please hide personal or health information first.

Please do not email your password, verification codes, or health-data exports. If we need more information, we will discuss an appropriate way to provide it.

Signing in

Use the same sign-in method you used when creating your account: email and password, Google, or Apple. For email accounts, check your spam or junk folder if a verification message has not arrived. Use the password-reset option on the sign-in screen if you have forgotten your password.

If you used Apple's Hide My Email, your account may use an Apple private relay address. Contact support if you are unsure which account you used.

Health data or insights are missing

On iPhone, Rhythmo reads the Apple Health categories you allow. Check that your wearable's app is writing the relevant data to Apple Health, then check Rhythmo's access in Apple Health or iPhone Settings. In Rhythmo, you can also review Settings → Permissions → Health permissions and Settings → Health App Sync Status.

Available insights depend on the type, amount and quality of your health data. Some patterns need a longer history and may not appear immediately. Revoking Health access stops Rhythmo reading those categories; it does not itself delete data already synced to your account.

Your data and account

In Settings → Data & Privacy, open Data storage information to see what is stored on your device and on the Rhythmo backend.

To delete your account, open Advanced data options → Delete Account + Data and follow the confirmation steps. If you participate in TEMPO, you will first be asked to review your research-data choices.

If you cannot access the app, email rachel@s-labs.com with the subject Account Deletion Request. You can also contact us to request a copy of your data or help with an export. We may need to verify your account before acting on a request. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Account deletion and research-data withdrawal are different choices. Research records may need to be retained as described in the participant information, including records that can no longer reasonably be linked back to you.

TEMPO research questions

TEMPO is a University of Melbourne study of biological rhythms. Research participation is voluntary and separate from using Rhythmo. You can decline participation and continue using the app. Permission to receive future study invitations is also a separate choice.

Read the participant information at https://rhythmo.me/download/pls and review your options under Settings → Research Choices → Manage Research Choices. These include stopping participation and choosing whether to retain prior research data or request removal where possible, subject to the limits in the participant information. Withdrawing from research does not require deleting your Rhythmo account.

For questions about the study, consent or withdrawal, contact Dr Pip Karoly, University of Melbourne, at karoly.p@unimelb.edu.au. Study reference: 2024-29554-60123-4.

For concerns about the conduct of the research, contact the University's Research Integrity office at research-integrity@unimelb.edu.au.
